More work in progress on the Faust!

Dystopian Legions Upate

Some quick updates on the Legions front. I finished up the second resin objective (pic 1), about 50% finished with the Faust (pic 2), and almost complete on the assembly for the remaining infantry to complete the army!

Dystopian Legions: Faust Robot Work In Progress

This will be a major project to cap my Legions army. This is the lower half of the Faust robot which stands about as tall as a 40K knight. So far we have the base coats up. Look for more updates over the next few days.

Dystopian Legions: Prussian Luftlancers

Here is a pick of the completed Lutflancers unit for my Prussians in Dystopian Legions! This completes the main army. I'll post up a complete picture of the army tomorrow. With these out of the way I can now move on to painting the Faust!

Dystopian Legions: Landwehr Conscripts Finished

Here is the second half of my Landwehr conscripts finished for Legions! At some point I'll pick up the sergeant and some specialists for these guys. For now, it's on to the Luftlancer section!

Batman Miniatures Game: Penguin Crew

Recently I decided to try out a great new game - Batman: The Miniatures Game! This is fun skirmish game set in DC's Batman universe. I decided to go with Penguin's crew along with a few upgrades. There are some extra henchmen, a Titan henchman, Lobo, and Deathstroke. More posts to follow!

Here is another update on my Prussian vehicles for Dystopian Legions. This time it's the completed and mighty Walze! Now that all of the vehicles are finished it's time to knock out the rest of the infantry to finish up the army!

Dystopian Legions: Prussian APCs

Hello all, just a quick update on more Dystopian Legions minis I have painted up! Below are two finished APCs for my Prussians.

I have also been busy assembly stuff I picked up from GenCon - yes, still. There is a large Bolt Action German army nearing assembly completion and a growing Macedonian army for Hail Caesar. I am really loving Warlord Games' minis and games right now for historical gaming. On the 40K front, I have my Skitarii and Mechanicus now, although there is still a mountain of boxes to assemble there as well. I also have most of my Solar Auxilia finished, just working on tanks now. Whew, that is a lot of super glue!

Dystopian Legions: Prussian Tankettes Completed

It's been a while since I've had an update but here is the next big completion for my Prussians in Dystopian Legions! Two full squadrons of tankettes!

Just a quick update on the Dystopian Legions front. I decided on finishing up the vehicles in the army so that means finishing up the tankettes. 1 down already, 3 to go. Look for a finished group shortly!

Another update on the Dystopian Legions front! Managed to get my commander, a sergeant, and a specialist finished. They'll need some highlighting still but for now they're ready to battle!

Another bit of progress on my Prussians for Dystopian Legions! This time it's one of the formidable Tesla artillery pieces. It needs a bit of touching up here and then but for now it's ready for the gaming table!

Pics from a recent Dystopian Legions game! Prussians vs Covenant of Antarctica! Solid win by the Prussians, but the CoA can bring the pain!

 Tesla cannon drops 2 drones!

 Brutal meleee as grenadiers charge Covenant commandos! Commandos are wiped out but Prussian HQ takes 2 wounds and Sergeant takes 1 wound to soak up damage, resulting in only 1 grenadier lost. A risky gamble. Commandos are wiped out!

 Tankettes blazing away!

 Epic rolls! The two specialists went down 2 turns in a row. The squad medic saved them both times but sacrificed himself the second time around as he was busy saving his comrades! Ooh rah!

 The situation was critical for the Covenant - the remaining drone takes out a tankette! Wub wub wub!

 Gunning down automata!

 Prussian APC popped smoke and blocked line of sight so that the grenadiers could flank around to the Covenant objective!

Covenant down to 3 models! CoA manage a charge on the small grenadier squad and kill off a specialist who put a wound on the CoA. All 3 CoA models down to 1 wound at that point. Game ends as Prussians score the 10th point to seal the victory! Prussian win 10-3!
